The Happy Couple. They come back tomorrow from their honeymoon. They are having a great time.. I’m so proud of my baby brother.
Is she beautiful? I think she is!! This picture was taken with her dad just moments after coming back down the aisle after marrying my brother. You KNOW it is killing me not to unload these photos all at one time.. but I am trying to wait until they are perfected!! ;) (Nathan is being a pal and using his photo shopping skills to make these beautiful masterpieces.
As soon as I thought that my medicine was the only thing to blog about today.. I turned around and Alli was posing for the camera. :)
Since he has been going through separation anxiety he has really been appreciating his momma home. :)Alli was settling in for his afternoon nap. All stretched out- He asked me if I wanted to take a nap with him today. I told him to find me wherever I ended up. He said “pretty please!” he even made his whiskers extra tall for me…. But I told him I had some time before my first dose kicked in. He said he would be in the same spot waiting on me….
So far, he has stayed true to his word. He is still waiting on me to join him for his afternoon nap.
Ahh, life without my kitty, I can’t imagine.
So for the past couple of weeks I have been feeling really odd. Well this week I guess I finally had enough and I went to the doctor. So he gave me some medicine that makes me very drowsy, gives me a constant headache. The doctor told me to stay in until Thursday. So tomorrow I end the medicine and go back to school. I just hope I don’t still need the medicine.. because if I have to take it, I can’t really function. I am sleeping a lot, and feel like I am in a fog.
Apparently bad bacteria has taken over the good bacteria, and has caused some stomach issues. It’s amazing how the body works, and it is also amazing that they have medicine ready and waiting for things like this. I am grateful for the relief that the medicine brings, but it gives me another set of issues! :)
I hope to be coming out of the fog tomorrow, and feeling better. :)
Today we had a new member of the family arrive. He is my new 50mm f/1.8 II lens. I have been wanting this lens since I bought Mr. Canon, but patience pays off. (And Nathan let me borrow his lens multiple times)
This lens makes tiny objects crystal clear and then blurs out everything else. You know how much I love that…. AND…. it is just in time for a wedding this weekend!! :)
Welcome to the Family Little Man!!!!!
Sniff Sniff… My brother is getting married this weekend.
I am really kind of sad. I love his wife to be… but I kind of have been the girl in his life.. all his life… and he has kind of been the boy in mine… and marriages are happening!
TODAY we both call my mom within minutes of each other needing a doctor. SO…… my mom schedules us to be at the doctors office AT THE SAME TIME to see the very SAME DOCTOR… with two different issues.
What are the chances??
I was so happy because afterwards we got to go to Wal*Mart and shop for our prescriptions together. And then he treated me to lunch at Famous Anthony’s.
I was so so thankful for one last dr. visit together.. and even though I know he is only getting married and not dying…. I still was glad to have him to be mine today…
How will I ever make it through Saturday!! Mr. Canon better bring a poncho to keep himself dry from my tears. Tears I can already feel brewing…
I love em’ to tiny pieces! Yesterday was his 31st Birthday. I had his family over for his meal of choice: home-made hamburgers and waffle fries! :) It was a nice day.. and I am so grateful for him!
Love You & Happy Birthday! 9 more years to 40~
Hey People- - I am a wee bit behind on updating- but I think that you all might as well consider this the new norm! :)
Last weekend Mom & Keith treated me to a weekend in Richmond for the NASCAR race! It was a nice time, but I sure did miss my honey. Jo and Mike came down from New York. It was nice to meet them. (They are my second or third cousins?) We saw lots and lots of traffic! Gary brought his friend Delmus! Some band……. I don’t know who they are….but I am sure that they are someone big… but leave it to me to be uniformed! I had lots of time walking around and taking pictures! This is a parachute man coming down from the sky!
Thanks Mom and Keith-
I have not forgotten that I have a blog….I remembered today, actually!
This is just a small example of how my brain has officially left the building.
Oh, and I forgot a very important article of clothing today….and I did not remember till I was in a room full of 6 year olds- lucky for everyone, I was the only one that could tell…..
yep, brains left the building…..
two weeks ago… instead of driving to Bekka’s new home that she has lived in for WELL over a year…. I drive to her OLD one……
brain has left the building. ;)
I tried to convince my husband I was NEVER cut out for the work force… and I think my mom and I decided I was convinced when I was 5….. maybe as late as 6………
But….. I am giving this a whirl anyway….. even if my brain NEVER returns to the building…ever….again!!!! :)
Happy Friday everyone….I’
I’m headed to the Richmond race with the maternal family….:)
